Registration Clarification:

6^th Graders and Returning 7^th and 8^th Graders:

Beginning August 15^th, go to the RRISD website https://roundrockisd.org/enroll/ and click on Returning Students.  Please make sure that you completely fill out the forms and submit them online before the first day of school, August 23^rd. 

***6^th Graders from our feeder Elementary schools: Union Hill, Caldwell Heights, Teravista and Herrington

New to RRISD :

 If your child is new to RRISD you will need to complete the online new student registration on the RRISD website https://roundrockisd.org/enroll/ You will also need to contact the Hopewell MS Counselor’s office (beginning August 2^nd) and set up an appointment to bring in paperwork to finish registering your NEW student.

1. Immunization Records – (The Nurse MUST check and sign that all immunizations are up to date prior to enrollment)
2. Proof of Residency

• Copy of Lease, Contract of Sale or Tax Statement, Current Utility Bill (cable bills not accepted).

3. Withdrawal Form from previous school- including last marking period grades & transferring grades.

• Report card showing promotion to next grade level if at the beginning of the school year.

4. Social Security number      
5. Birth Certificate 

***If you are new to our school BUT you were in RRISD (not from one of our feeder elementary schools) and you are now living in Hopewell’s zone, you will need to come in and just bring proof of residency.

STAAR Results:

If you would like to see your child’s STAAR results online, here are step by step instructions. 

To get the access code:

1. Log into RRISD home access 

2. Click registration tab

3. Under the top bold heading you will see TEA Portal Access code (write the code down)

4. Go to http://www.texasassessment.com/students

5. Type in the code and date of birth

6. Click the button and view results

Dear Parents,

2016-2017 SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

If you have a child that has filled out a choice sheet and is either coming to Hopewell as a 6^th grader from one of the four Hopewell MS feeder Elementary schools (Teravista, Union Hill, Herrington and Caldwell Heights) or will be a returning 7^thor 8^th grader then you will need to go to the RRISD website and click on the parent resources link and then click on the registration link.  Please make sure that you completely fill out the form and submit it beginning Monday, July 11^th.

 If your child is new to Hopewell or to RRISD this year, you will need to contact the Hopewell MS Counselor’s office and set up an appointment to register your child here in person.   We are looking forward to a great new school year and can’t wait to get started. 

Don’t forget to get those all- important immunizations for ALL 7^th graders prior to the first day of school.  You may drop off immunization documentation here at Hopewell MS M-TH this summer or when you attend Hopewell Hello on Monday, August 22^nd.  Thanks!

We will have our annual Hornet Hello on Monday, August 22^rd, 2016.  Times for each grade level will be posted soon on our HMS website.  Students will be picking up their schedules and locker information that day.  Students will have an opportunity to walk their schedules, set up lockers, and get oriented prior to the first day of school on Tuesday, August 23^th.   ALL outstanding obligations such as any textbook late turn ins or payments as well as any library book over-dues are taken care of prior to Hornet Hello in order for your child to get their schedule that day. Thanks!

The Round Rock ISD Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation, Round Rock ISD and the Round Rock Police Department are partnering this year to host School Supplies Sunday in partnership with Kutz 4 Kidz, presented by Dream Big.

Volunteer Opportunities are available for sorting day (August 10), packing supplies (August 11) and Distributing Supplies/Kutz for Kidz (August 14). This is truly a community event and there are many exciting volunteer opportunities.  Please reference job descriptions for age requirements for each volunteer opportunity.
