Dear Parents,
As you are probably aware by now we had to move the 8th grade Formal to NEXT FRIDAY, May 29th.
Our Student Council sponsors have been diligently working with their students preparing them for the STAAR exams and time became a factor in making this decision. Supplies, decorations, and other dance items had not been delivered as of.o I sincerely apologize to the parent community for any inconvenience and extra expense this may have caused you. The Student Council sponsors and students want this Formal to be a great experience for all students and they felt that the only way to accomplish that goal was to move it to. Again, apologies for any problem this may have caused you as parents. In the future, we will make sure that this does not happen again.
Also, the link below is the schedule for the last week of school events such as finals, awards assemblies, and yearbook distribution and signing. We will be distributing yearbooks on Tuesday, June 2nd during all three lunches. Students will sign yearbooks throughout the week no doubt but again the last day of school.
Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day Holiday weekend! School resumes on Tuesday, May 26th.
